Two people were taken to hospital after a light plane crashed in Wigan. The plane crashed in a field near Rindle Road, Tidesley at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday.
Emergency services remain in place. No one else was on board the plane.

A spokesman for the Manchester Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: , Tyldesley. Teams quickly arrived at the scene and worked to make the area safe.
“Firefighters using traumatic equipment and a long board worked with colleagues from the Northwest Ambulance to treat two people on the scene before being taken to hospital.
“Firefighters are still on the scene and have been on the scene for about an hour.
