OPP Northeast region tweeted around 9:30 p.m. this Highway 17 between McKerrow and Nairn Center. The accident was in the area of ​​the bridge over the Spanish river, but police said the road was reopened.

The OPP Northeast region tweeted Sunday afternoon that a crash had closed Highway 17 on Sand Bay Road.

Police in Manitulin Province, Ontario, are currently at the scene.

The tweet also states that there is no detour and the road will be closed indefinitely.
