UPDATE: A woman was arrested after a bus from a primary school with children inside was shot in Gwyneth County
GWINET DISTRICT, Georgia – Police say a woman has been arrested after shooting at a primary school bus with children inside Gwyneth County on Monday morning.
The bus headed to Riverside Elementary School in Suwanee.
None of the children on board were injured, police said.

The bus driver has abrasions on his arm. It is unclear whether her injuries came from the shots.

Police did not disclose details about the shooter. It is unclear what led to the shooting.
Melissa Laramie, director of communications for public schools in Gwyneth County, spoke about the incident on behalf of the school system.
“We are so grateful that the GCPS staff and the children on the bus arrived safely at the school,” Laramie said.
