PETROL and diesel prices in York rose to another record.
Earlier this week (Tuesday, June 7), fuel prices in York rose by five pence a liter.
As previously reported in The Press, prices at Morrisons, Foss Island Road, rose from 170.7 pence per liter of gasoline on Monday, June 6, to 175.7 pence the next day.

As early as March, the Morrisons gas station charged 1.49.7 pence per liter.
At the national level, this is the largest daily increase in 17 years.
AA spokesman Luke Bosdet said: “We expect to see the average price of petrol exceed 180 pence this week, with diesel moving another 190 pence.
