One person is dead after a shooting on Park Street Saturday.
City police said the person was pronounced dead after being taken to Peterborough Regional Health Center.
Police said Saturday that the situation does not involve an active shooter. Officers were at the scene in Park and Sherbrooke as the investigation continued on Saturday evening.
The area was cordoned off, with yellow tape around one of the homes on the street.
A witness told the Examiner he heard what sounded like gunshots coming from the area of the house earlier.
