Sister heard: “I’m proud of you for standing up for yourself”
Earlier this week, Hurd’s sister, Whitney Henriques, who testified about the Aquaman star during the defamation trial, posted a message on social media telling her, “I will always be proud of you for standing up for yourself.”
Henriques’ full message:
“I’m still standing with you, sissy. Yesterday, today and tomorrow I will always be proud of you for standing up for yourself, for testifying here in Virginia and in the UK, and for being the voice of so many who can’t talk about the things that are happening in closed doors. We knew it was going to be a tough battle and the cards were stacked against us. But you stood up and spoke independently.
“It is such an honor for me to testify for you, and I would do it a million times because I know what I saw and because the truth is on your side forever.
“I am very sorry that this was not reflected in the decision made by this jury, but I will never give up on you, nor will anyone who stands by you. Forever to you… #istandwithamberheard “.
