Nick Hardy rises and falls from the green bunker at 9 and he adds 68 to yesterday’s 69. He is the club’s early leader at -3, with a share of the tournament lead and has a good chance of not being far at the end of the day as well. conditions are expected to become more difficult as the sun rises, scorching the greens. There are no signs of rain or storms that were promised to us earlier.
MJ Daffue can’t get away from 18, but he doesn’t seem to mind the ball. Doubling to the end and he came back after 40 strokes after coming out at 32. He was inches from reaching heights of -7 on the 10th; he finished the day at -1, signing for a roller coaster at 72 amusement park. He was going to take that position earlier this week, but, well, you know.
The disgusting end of the round for MJ Daffue unfolds. Its movement reveals a thick fescue just above the bunker to the left of the fairway. With one foot in the sand, he can send just a second without power to a hopper guarding the front of the green. He then runs one over the green and up the shore on the other side. He has a short side in a thick rough with a lie down. Oh, and he has to move to the bunker. He tries to be too sweet with his fourth shot and has just brought his ball to the green. This was not far from rude. He will have a 20-foot boom for the boogie.
This is impressive from Matt Fitzpatrick. He just made three waves in a row. His tee, fired at 5, finds green sand, from where it rises to three feet, arranging for a bird. This is a big change in momentum that brings it back to -1.
Nick Hardy finds the periphery of par-five 8th in two. A few shots later, the 26-year-old Illinois player, who made his first serious impression of a major championship, found himself in a share of the lead at -3.
One hell of an extreme fight for MJ Daffue at 17! Its drive finds sand on the left. He is not far from finding the green with his second, but the ball turns from the fake front … and into an old pit. This is terribly unfortunate. But he rolls confidently up the shore, six feet along the hole, and drives the one who returns. He deserved it. Meanwhile, Matt Fitzpatrick’s third straight in a row is the result of three four-pointers, and he returns to the nominal-level package with overnight leader Adam Hadwin sending his fourth round of the 2nd round. this ranking now!
-3: Duffy (17), Taren, Lingmert, McIlroy, Damen-2: Hardy (16 *), Scheffler (14), Buckley, NeSmith, Harman, Wise-1: Burns (15), Koepka (14), Reed (11), Rodgers, Morikawa, Piot, Ram, Scott, Homa, Zalatoris, Hosler
A few hours ago, world number one Scotty Scheffler cut a chip to 5. Now he’s crashing into one of the top of the bank, 50 yards at par-five 14th for an eagle! You can’t keep a good Masters champion! Suddenly, after trying to find something, he leads one of the lead at -2! Sensational! He walks around with Brooks Koepka and after driving a long iron into the green up to ten feet – this hole is 616 yards long – the two-time winner rolls for his own eagle! He is suddenly -1 after making four shots in the last four holes!
Now co-leader MJ Daffue is stopping rotting up and down from a deep bunker to the side of the third 16th. He stays at -3. Meanwhile, 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed rejects a good chance to join the group with one hit behind Daffue & Co. He drives a beautiful wedge at the short 11 to 10 feet, but can’t make the slider down from right to left and stays at -1. Still, out of shape for so long, Reed won’t be at all unhappy with the way things are going here.
Justin Thomas seemed to be up to the challenge an hour ago. Birdie at 1 saw the PGA champion return to par level. But after one step forward, waves of 2 and 4 sent him back a few. He has +2, still unable to transfer the form that saw him so close to the Canadian Open last week to Brooklyn.
Birdie is 13 for Scotty Scheffler and although he has not yet brought his best, world number one finds him only three less than the pace at nominal level. Nervously calming money meanwhile for Adam Hadwin at 18 and 1 and he consolidated his position to -1. Despite all his grief this morning, the 34-year-old Canadian is still in the mix.

No, no. But we know that Fitzpatrick can only send his third everywhere from 25 feet. He can’t make the rescue, and that’s back to back for the Englishman. He is -1. Daffue also fails to save his money at 15, and he meets the other people he started the day with again.
-3: Duffy (15), Taren, Lingmert, McIlroy, Damen-2: Hardy (15 *), Buckley, NeSmith, Harman, Wise-1: Burns (13), Fitzpatrick (12 *), Reed (9), Hadwin (9 *), Rodgers, Morikawa, Piot, Ram, Scott, Homa, Zalatoris, Hosler
MJ Daffue sent his sand shot high above the flag 15 and 20 feet past the hole. He will have to do this if he wants to retain sole ownership of the presenter. In the meantime, worry about Matt Fitzpatrick at 3. His drive disappears in the tall fescue at the bottom right, and his hackout sprays to the left and into the deeper fescue … or maybe into a bunker, if you’re lucky. The camera does not reveal the result. We’ll find out soon enough.
MJ Daffue, coming down from this unnecessary wave at 14, continues to fight up at 15. He sends his drive to the gallery down to the right and throws his second into a deep bunker to the right of the green. The pin is also from there, so it is short and down. He will do extremely well to save his money from there. If he doesn’t, he’ll go back to where he started the day … or worse.
A disappointing three-pointer for Matt Fitzpatrick at 2. He slipped out of a draw for second. Meanwhile, birds for Brooks Koepka, 11 and 12, and suddenly the two-time champion, unhappy with yesterday’s 73, is only five behind +1.
-4: Duffy (14) -3: Taren, Lingmart, McIlroy, Damen-2: Hardy (14 *), Fitzpatrick (11 *), Buckley, NeSmith, Harman, Wise-1: Burns (12), Reed ), Hadwin (8 *), Bland (8 *), Rodgers, Morikawa, Piot, Ram, Scott, Homa, Zalatoris, Hosler
MJ Daffue pulled his nominal shot at 14 on the left and it’s a great six on a hole he hoped to tread. His shoulders drop. A little over an hour after being about an inch from a four-shot lead, his lead was reduced to one. He is -4. Meanwhile, Sam Burns bounces well off his double gods at 10 with a birdie at 12 and returns to -1.
Daffue’s brave second ends just to the right of the green, albeit in a deep rough. He slows down with his chip and his ball stays in the dirt. He breaks his second attempt for an out, but the ball rolls a meter and a half and he will have a tester to save his money. Speaking of a saving face value, this makes Hadwin at 17. He finds his drive, sends his second into the green bunker, and stands up and descends boldly. It was unwavering work, just when everything was threatening to spiral out of control. The leader remains -1 at night.
Hadwin sent a big hook in trouble for the third time today, this time at 17. A chance he could throw all the way out of bounds. Meanwhile, some are worried about leader MJ Daffue sending his drive at 14 to a concession stand on the left. He is entitled to a drop, but he thinks of the lie he has laid on the edge of the carpet, and waves a 3-tree over the heads of some very funny players, with whom he exchanges some funny steps. “I’m passing over your head, sir!” “We believe you!”

Another change in the weather forecast. According to Sky Sports, thunderstorms are now expected around 13:00 local time, which is 18:00 in pounds sterling. If that’s the case, we may have trouble getting everyone close to sunset … but it would still be good news for later beginners, softening the greens and making them damn easier to keep. All speculation, of course, changes with each passing hour, so let’s just play it with our ears.

One-night leader Adam Hadwin continues to move in the wrong direction. His tee fired in a couple of 16 matches in the dense surrounding roughness. His wedge is always destined to roll eight feet away, and he can’t make the rescue strike come back. No commitment to the stroke, which always dies short and left. He is -1.

He doubled a cheating six on Sam Burns’ highly challenging 10th. The hole is currently the second most difficult to play today, so moving from rough to rough to a bunker would never reduce it. It returns to par level. Justin Thomas is also at the nominal level, but he is heading in the right direction and gathering his circle back after a terrible start. Birdie at 1, his second in three holes, and suddenly has a renewed spring in the footsteps of the PGA champion.
The magnificent Adrienne Dumont de Chasseur sounds as if he has to drive around the French Riviera in a Formula 1 car from the 1950s, made entirely of flammable metal, without a helmet, with a pedal, on his way to the casino for the evening. In fact, he is a 22-year-old amateur golfer from Belgium, who is in the 5th place that can be fought. He hits his hit with the green one. One bounce, then inches from hitting the second. But the albatross hole in one should not be. Shame; he would join Chen Jie-chung, Sean Mitchell and Nick Watney as the only players to become albatrosses at the US Open. Dumont de Chassar’s ball rolls through the green and fringe at the back, where he makes a garden variety. Small margins.
These are consistent waves for Victor Howland. The best in Norway is …
