The Uwalde Police Department and the Uwalde Independent School District Police are no longer cooperating with the Texas Public Safety Department’s investigation into the Rob Robon School massacre and the state’s review of law enforcement response, many law enforcement sources told ABC News.
A Texas MRF spokesman who heads the state’s investigations declined to comment.
The Uwalde police chief and spokesman for the Uwalde Independent School District did not immediately respond to requests for comment from ABC News.

According to sources, the decision to suspend co-operation was made shortly after DPS Director Colonel Stephen McCrow held a press conference on Friday, saying delayed police entry into the classroom was a “wrong decision” and contradicted protocol.
Last Tuesday’s attack, one of the worst school shootings in US history, killed 19 children and two adults.
