Vince McMahon, the king of American wrestling, has retired as CEO and chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment following The Wall Street Journal’s revelations about numerous payouts to women who have been accused of sexual misconduct and infidelity.
In a news release, the 76-year-old CEO said his daughter Stephanie McMahon and current company president Nick Hahn will take over as co-CEOs. Ms. McMahon will serve as Chair.
