Warriors vs. Celtics Result: Updates to the NBA Finals live as Stephen Curry, Golden State strive to level the game in Game 2

The Golden State Warriors trailed the Boston Celtics 1-0 in the NBA Finals in 2022, although they led for most of Game 1. Reducing by 14 points in the fourth quarter, Boston surpassed the Golden State 40-16 for a stunning return with 120-108. Boston became the first team in the history of the NBA Finals to win by double digits after falling behind by double digits in the fourth quarter. The Celtics also tied for the 1960 St. Louis Hawks for the biggest points difference (+24) in any quarter in the history of the finals. They exhausted nine 3s in just 12 attempts in the fourth time to their historic victory. Curry finished with seven 3s, including six in the hot first quarter. Al Horford finished with six 3s, and Derrick White squeezed out five of his own.
