Police are searching for two suspects after investigators said a man’s dog was shot dead on Tuesday.
Police were called at about 5 p.m. in Block 300 on Mountain Avenue for signals to fire outside the home.
Police spoke to a resident who told officers that their dog had been shot by two unknown individuals who had fled the area.
The dog was taken to a veterinary hospital and treated with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
