WWE digitally removes the reference to Sasha Banks from SmackDown

WWE

Since the stories about her / were not released, WWE chose to digitally remove the reference to Sasha Banks from SmackDown from last Friday.

First spotted by @WrestleFeatures, the Sasha Krew 4 Life sign was blank in the WWE.com image gallery for this latest offering from the company’s blue brand. The sign was originally presented amid Raquel Gonzalez celebrating his victory over Shina Basler to secure a place in the title match of Money in the Bank’s PPV women’s rankings next month.

Sasha – along with his partner Naomi – left WWE before the episode of Raw on May 16. Dissatisfied with their upcoming creative plans, the duo reportedly placed their titles on the women’s team at John Laurinaitis’ desk before leaving the building.

Since then, WWE has confirmed that Banks and Naomi were removed free of charge, deprived of women’s team championships, and all goods were removed from WWEShop.com. Late last week, Raj Geary of Wrestling Inc. said the boss had been fired by WWE – with similar stories appearing elsewhere – although Vince McMahon’s protagonist had not yet made a statement confirming that Sasha Banks was indeed no longer in the company.
