Three people were shot dead Thursday night at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, the Vestavia Hills Police Department said.
Police reported the 3775 Crosshaven Drive incident around 6:22 p.m.
Captain Shane Ware said at a briefing that three people were shot dead in the church. One died and two were hospitalized, he added.
