A 40-year-old man is charged after stabbing in downtown Toronto, which resulted in a seriously injured man on Tuesday.
The incident happened in front of the CF Eaton Center on Yonge and Dundas streets before 19:30.
Police said two men were involved in a verbal altercation when one stabbed the other.
The victim was taken to a life-threatening hospital. Police said they were in stable condition on Wednesday.
The suspect, Toronto resident Aquasi Oppong-Nsafoa, was subsequently arrested after the incident and charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
He appeared in court Wednesday morning.
