Hamilton firefighters and police warned the public Monday of a large fire at an apartment complex in Mt.
Police said in a tweet at 4:41 p.m. ET that the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway between Rymal Road and Highland Road West is closed.
“Traffic is restricted. Please stay out of the area,” police said.
The fire department tweeted that crews would be working at the scene “for some time”.
It is not clear when and how the fire started and whether there were any reports of injuries.
