Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard has taken over people around the world.
Hurd has been sued by Depp for $ 50 million (£ 40.1 million) for alleging that he mistreated her in a 2018 Washington Post publication. Although she did not name him, he claims her allegations have affected his ability to work.
Hurd filed a counterclaim, accusing Depp of allegedly organizing a “defamation campaign” against her and describing his own case as a continuation of “abuse and harassment.”
Depp’s fans are much louder than Hurd’s. At the time of writing, nearly 4.3 million people have signed the petition to remove Hurd from Aquaman 2, and celebrities such as Winona Ryder and Javier Bardem have explicitly expressed support for him. Chris Rock even joked on stage that “we should trust all women, but not Amber Heard” – to a significant reaction.
But who supports Hurd? See all the celebrities who talked about her below …

Howard Stern
Although the radio host veteran did not specifically express his support for Hurd, he spoke out against Depp. Speaking on his SiriusXM show in late April, he said: “He thought, ‘I’m going to put this on TV because I’m so convincing and I’m so smart, and I’m such a wonderful person … charm America’s pants in the process.
“No, you will not do it. This is not going to go well. It doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work for her. It’s not going well for anyone. You sound like two fighting kids. It’s just very bad. “
Ellen Barkin
In testimony about the trial, recorded in 2019, actor Barkin claims that “jealous” Depp once threw a bottle of wine through a hotel room when they met in the early 90’s.
Jurors also heard Barkin testify that her ex “controlled” her during their brief time together, and would ask her where she was going and what she was doing, telling her “don’t do this, don’t do that.”
“Just a jealous man in control,” she said, recalling that he would ask, “Where are you going?” Who are you going with? What did you do last night? “

Barkin testified about a specific moment when Depp was allegedly angry and accused of having sex with someone else because he had a slight scratch on his back.
Barkin’s testimony about the bottle incident was heard earlier during Depp’s defamation lawsuit in the UK before The Sun over an article in which the newspaper called him a “husband’s fighter” – which the Pirates of the Caribbean actor lost. .
Depp denied that the incident occurred when Barkin’s allegation surfaced, and testified that she called him abusive because she “hated” him.
“The sexual element started with Ms. Barkin, which lasted for months because she was making the movie I was making at the time, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,” Depp said.
“She wanted the right relationship with me, but I didn’t want that. I didn’t feel the same way she felt for me, and I guess she became very, very angry from that moment on, and I haven’t spoken to Mrs. Barkin since.
Julia Fox
The star of Uncut Gems Fox publicly supported Heard. She commented on Instagram: “Did she hit him? Yes. Was it an abuse? No. You have to have power to abuse it. She was 25. He has obviously always been much stronger, including physically and financially.
