Apple is preparing to introduce several devices with a leading M2 chip: The Tribune India

New Delhi, June 27

Apple plans to launch several new devices, starting with the iPhone 14 series, new iPads, three watches, updated AirPods Pro, a new HomePod and several upgraded Macs, along with AR / MR headphones powered by the flagship M2 processor.

The M2 chip will power most of the new products, including the M2 Mac mini, M2 Pro Mac mini, M2 Pro / M2 Max 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros, as well as the M2 Ultra / M2 Extreme Mac Pro, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

These devices will be released between this fall and early next year.

Apple unveiled two new Macs with an M2 chip at its recently concluded World Developer Conference.

Gourmet said Apple’s M3 processor is already in the works and is likely to appear in the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air laptops next year.

Apple will release M2-equipped 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models later this year, in addition to a larger iPad between 14 and 15 inches coming in “next year or two.”

Apple is also expected to introduce a standard Watch Series 8, a new SE and a more “healthy” watch for people who do “extreme sports”. It is reported that the Apple Watch will have an upgraded processor.

Apple is likely to stop production of the Series 3 this fall.

The technology giant is expected to unveil the new Apple TV with an A14 chip and more RAM this fall, along with an upgraded HomePod.

The updated AirPods Pro can be offered with lossless audio support. IANS
