LAS VEGAS – Undefeated Mexican Aaron Silva brought out a slight disorder in the undercard of Canelo Alvarez-Dmitry Bivol on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena.

Silva injured the undefeated Alexis Espino with a left hook a little less than a minute after the fourth round. Sensing that Espino was ready to go, Silva made a few extra flush right hands and left hooks on top and mixed two left to the body until referee Celestino Ruiz stood between them and stopped their eight-round match in the super middleweight division at 1:17 p.m. fourth round.

Espino from Las Vegas (9-1-1, 6 KOs), who was backed against the ropes when their battle ended, protested against Ruiz’s stop. Silva of Monterey improved to 10-0 and led to their seventh knockout.

The 22-year-old Espino had some success in the first two rounds, but the 24-year-old Silva began to strike harder during the third round and bleed Espino’s nose.

In the match before the victory of Silva Elnur Abduraimov was completely strong for Manuel Correa.

The powerful southern paw from Uzbekistan missed the undefeated Korea three times in the second round and stopped it at the end of this round. Referee Robert Hoyle stopped the junior lightweight schedule for eight rounds at 2:43 a.m. in the second round, just after Korea was knocked down for the third time.

Problems began for Korea from Miami (11-1, 7 KOs) when Abduraimov dropped it with his right left hand with 2:13 to advance to the second round. Korea quickly got to his feet, but Abduraimov unloaded on him a series of forceful blows, while the right hook on the side of Korea’s head knocked him back on the road, this time with 1:02 to advance to the second round.

Korea bravely stood up again and tried to move away from the aggressive Abduraimov (9-0, 8 KOs).

Abduraimov then struck him with another left hand, which sent Korea down into the ropes. Hoyle then intervened to stop their battle.
