Gabriel Moreno is about to officially start his career in the Premier League.
The Toronto Blue Jays have announced that they are calling for their best prospects ahead of Saturday night’s game against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.
In response, Zack Collins was sent to triple-A Buffalo.
Moreno has played 35 games this season at Triple-A Buffalo and averaged 0.323 with a home run and 23 RBIs.
The 22-year-old is the fifth prospect in Major League Baseball, according to Baseball America.
Born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, he was signed by Blue Jace in August 2016.
