The show’s reporter said: “I never did any exercise until I went to the GP before or as soon as I had Sam.

“When I was asked if I had done any exercise, I said ‘No,’ and the doctor said, ‘Literally none?’ I said no.”

“I was desperate because she was so terrified, so I decided to do something.

“For me, exercise doesn’t mean living longer, but it gives me energy and I don’t know what I would be without them.

The TV personality said that having the same babysitter for two decades helped her balance work and home life.

Appearing on the cover of the October issue of Good Housekeeping, she was asked how she balances work and motherhood, admitting: “It definitely helped if the same babysitter lived with us for 20 years.

She left when Mia graduated from GCSE, but she is a good family friend. “She added:” Did I spend enough time with my children?

“I think you scratch the surface of every working woman, and she’ll always think, ‘Probably not.’ I don’t think there is such a thing as quality time with your children. I think it’s the quantity.

“But there was never any doubt that they took precedence over everything in my life, and they always did.”
