Kate Moss testified at the trial against Johnny Depp – Amber Heard

Falls Church, Virginia –

Supermodel Kate Moss, an ex-girlfriend of Johnny Depp, denied on Wednesday that she had ever been pressured or attacked by Depp during their relationship.

Moss testified as a witness to a rebuttal in Depp’s defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

Hurd, in his testimony, made a fleeting mention of Moss and a rumor that Depp had pushed Moss down the stairs when they met. Hurd mentioned Moss as he described a battle in which he admitted to hitting Depp on a staircase because he said Depp was attacking Hurd’s sister, Whitney.

Moss, in testimony provided via video link, said Depp had never attacked her. She said she once went downstairs after a rainstorm at a Jamaican resort and that Depp came to her aid.

She testified in less than 5 minutes and was not cross-examined.

Depp is suing Hurd for defamation in Fairfax County Court for a December 2018 post she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as a “public figure representing domestic violence.” His lawyers say he was slandered by the article, although his name is never mentioned.

Depp denies hitting Hurd and says she was the bully in the relationship. Hurd has testified to more than a dozen individual cases of physical violence she says she suffered at the hands of Depp.
