INTERSTELLAR RED3,721 aims to perpetuate the Mars Perseverance mission through quality watchmaking.
The Mars Perseverance Mission 2020 is a landmark chapter in the exploration of Mars and INTERSTELLAR, a Los Angeles-based visionary watchmaker, has launched an exclusive collector’s watch in honor of NASA’s mission. Titled “RED3,721”, the unique watch collection is the FIRST line of watches to carry encapsulated particles from the Mars Meteorite.
The campaign was initially aimed at raising around € 20,000 by the last quarter of June 2022, but has already exceeded its targets. New promises are undoubtedly always welcome.
The FIRST project RED3,721 has been approved and authorized by NASA. The unique watch was developed by INTERSTELLAR in collaboration with the leading watchmaker Col & MacArthur.
The name of the collection contains two things – “Red”, which refers to the Red Planet Mars – and “3,721”, which symbolizes the gravity of the planet observed during the NASA expedition.

The RED3,721 watch was created to celebrate the Mars Perseverance mission not in one, but in several symbolic ways:
- The dial of the watch is designed according to the charming models of the terrain of the landscape of the Red Planet
- The case of the watch contains encapsulated authentic Martian powder at 3HRS
- “7 minutes of horror” just below the 10:10 sign means the most stressful period during the Perseverance rover, which was motionless for 7 minutes just after touching the surface of Mars
- The parachute rover on the back cover in memory of the parachute, which brought real footage from the mission on earth and the message of “DARE MIGHTY THINGS”
- The date “February 18, 2020” on the side of the clock face means the historic date when the Perseverance spacecraft first landed on Mars.
- The dimensions of Jezero Crater (18012’00 ”N- 77036’00” E), as it was the crater itself where the Perseverance spacecraft landed when it reached Mars
- The name “Persistence” on the watch

Note that INTERSTELLAR is collaborating with The Meteoritical Society (International Society for Meteorites and Planetary Sciences), which will allow users to track the origin, history, and technical specifications of the meteorite they wear on their RED3,721 watch.
