Kyle Rittenhouse says Johnny Depp’s victory over Amber Heard in court “feeds” his own plans to sue.

In August 2020, Mr. Rittenhouse fatally shot dead two men and wounded a third in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during the unrest following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

He was acquitted in November 2021 on five charges, including first-degree murder.

Mr Rittenhouse and his mother, Wendy Rittenhouse, accused a number of people and the media of “slandering” him.

Following the verdict in the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard case on Wednesday, Mr Rittenhouse quoted Mr Depp as saying, tweeting: “The jury has given me back my life” and “The truth never dies”.

Mr Rittenhouse added: “I felt it!” Followed by “Congratulations to Johnny and his team on his defamation case.”

He later tweeted: “I have a new report on my defamation case soon, follow Fox News and TMAP.org for more this week.

“The trial against Johnny Depp just feeds me, you can fight lies in the media and you should!”

Following his own lawsuit, Mr. Rittenhouse launched an initiative called The Media Accountability Project to raise funds to prosecute politicians, celebrities and athletes who called him a “murderer”, despite his acquittal on all charges, and a white race ”.

He also said he could sue media organizations.

Among those he mentioned who were “on the list” during a Tucker Carlson performance tonight in February 2022 were Whoopi Goldberg of The View and Cenk Uygur of Young Turks.

Mr Rittenhouse said earlier that he would do so sues President Joe Biden for defamation in connection with a tweet sent shortly after the shooting, including a video condemning then-President Donald Trump for failing to call whites and other far-right groups. The video included a shot of Mr. Rittenhouse.

After the trial, Mr Rittenhouse was praised by many figures on the right, including former President Trump, whom he visited in Mar-a-Lago, and Marjorie’s representative, Taylor Green, who wanted to present him with a medal.
