In case you missed it, Nintendo has announced that it will support the upcoming Mario Strikers: Battle League with free post-launch updates, including new characters.
It seems that we now have additional information with the kind assistance of the Twitter user and the data miner “Wipeoutjack7” – revealing the source code of the game mentions 10 additional characters. The exact characters have not yet been revealed, but hey, that means characters like Daisy may be back.

Of course, all this is subject to change and for now – all we know is that this content will include at least some free characters after launch. If we get 10 additional characters, as noted above, this will increase the full list to 20.
These free post-launch updates follow in the footsteps of various other first-party Nintendo releases. On the sports front, Mario Golf: Super Rush also received additional courses and characters.
