The stepmother of the missing Harmony Montgomery has been arrested again for allegedly lying under oath, according to New Hampshire authorities.
Kayla Montgomery, 31, faces two new charges of perjury just weeks after she was released on bail on other charges of fraud in connection with the girl’s disappearance, according to police and court documents.
Two new complaints allege that she lied to the grand jury separately about the location of a past job and the time of a shift.

She was scheduled for indictment on Monday, but refused to be heard, according to authorities.
Previous charges against her include allegedly collecting social benefits on behalf of the missing girl for months after she last saw her. She was recently released on $ 5,000 bail before her arrest Friday. A new bond was set at another $ 5,000. In addition, she is not allowed to leave New Hampshire, own weapons, use drugs or “consume excessive amounts of alcohol.”
The conditions for her release also require her to register in person at the Manchester Police Department on a daily basis.

She was also ordered not to contact her estranged husband, Adam Montgomery, Harmony’s father.
Harmony was last seen at the end of 2019.
Adam Montgomery, a heroin abuser and career criminal, is also behind bars, facing charges of child abuse and alleged stoning of investigators searching for the whereabouts of the missing girl.
A Massachusetts family court judge’s decision to place custody of a murdered father whose criminal record includes shooting a man in the face during a drug robbery sparked demands for reform from two state governors and an investigation that found Adam Montgomery was not properly screened before receiving custody of his then 5-year-old daughter in February 2019.
