One killed after head-on collision between roadster and minivan in Langley – British Columbia

One man died in a head-on collision between a retro hot rod and a minivan in Langley.

Langley RCMP says crash occurred at block 20700 of Grade Crescent just 16 hours ago

Police say the driver of the 1932 Ford Roadster flew out of their car and was pronounced dead on the spot.

“A very early investigation suggests that the Roadster suddenly veered off and collided with the caravan. It is alleged that the deceased may have suffered a medical event, “RCMP said in a press release.

The driver of the van is almost unharmed, but in shock, police said.

The RCMP’s Lower Continent Integrated Crash Analysis and Reconstruction Service was dispatched to the scene, and drivers were warned to close roads and delays in the area.
