Oppo is on the verge of launching the Reno 8 series smartphones for the Indian market. However, details about the Reno 8 series launch date in India are still scarce. So, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the series’ upcoming debut in the country. A recent teaser suggests that the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro smartphones will launch in India on July 21.
However, an earlier report suggested that the Reno 8 series will land in India on July 18. It should be noted that Oppo is still mum on the India launch schedule of the Reno 8 series. Meanwhile, other vital information about the lineup is surfacing online. Now tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed the Oppo Reno 8 series specifications and price in India. According to the leaked information, the Reno 8 Pro+ 5G will arrive in India with the moniker Reno 8 Pro. The Reno 8 series is supposed to boast notable upgrades over the Reno 7 range in various departments.
Oppo will launch the Reno 8 series in India in two color variants. The range will also be available in three different storage configurations. The base model with 8GB RAM+128GB storage will retail for INR 29,990. Also, the 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant will carry a price tag of INR 31,990. Finally, the 12GB RAM+256GB storage model will cost you INR 33,990. This information comes from a report by RootMyGalaxy.

According to Mukul, the Reno 8 Pro could cost between INR 42,000 and 46,000. He further predicts that the Pro variant will ship with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. Now the specifications of the Reno 8 India variant have also been hinted.
First, the Indian variant of the Reno 8 will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel. Additionally, this display will support Full-HD+ resolution and a punch notch. It will also support a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is the Dimensity 1300 SoC. This processor is combined with up to 12 GB of RAM. The phone also has a great internal memory of 256 GB. A robust 4500mAh battery will power the entire system. In addition, this cell can support 80W fast charging. It runs Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top.
For optics, the Reno 8 has a triple rear camera. It features a 50MP main sensor and a couple of 2MP sensors on the back. On the front, the phone has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
