Anyone who needs somewhere to live and loves a good ogi can soon realize their dream job. Dashers Pasties has been supplying handmade pastes and other savory to Southeast Cornwall for 25 years.
The pastry shop, located on Torpoint Street, is now up for sale after the current owners decided it was time to retire. Sales professionals Daltons Business, which advertised the sale, said the pastry shop offered “an exceptional opportunity to secure a future in Cornwall.” The business comes with a fully equipped production bakery with retail space, a car park and a two-bedroom apartment on top, all for £ 249,500 as vacant property.

A Daltons Business spokesman said: “Dashers Pasties is located on the thriving main shopping street of Torpoint on the Ram Peninsula and is just a short drive from the beautiful villages of Kingsand and Kousand. The Torpoint ferry leaves Plymouth for a short trip across the Tamar River, and Cornish Pasty’s protected status means Dashers is one of the city’s closest pasta makers.
In his sales presentation, he added: “The gleaming retail space in front of the premises allows hungry customers to see the bakery in action as they choose their pastas, allowing them to feel confident they are buying a freshly made, craft product. In the back of the room there is a parking lot for a bakery and a separate entrance to a spacious two-bedroom apartment, which is included in the sale. Dashers Pasties is a great opportunity to secure a future in Cornwall. ”
The business comes with a two-bedroom apartment and a parking space at the back and “ample scope for introducing appetizing craft products that would allow a new owner to immediately increase the profitability of the business.” A Daltons Business spokesman added: “The spectacular beaches nearby offer the opportunity to combine a money-generating, established grocery store with an enviable Cornish lifestyle.
