Paul Pogba has complained that Manchester United have offered him “nothing” despite two proposals for a contract worth 300,000 pounds a week, revealed a new documentary about the player.
Pogmentary, released on Friday, reveals that his former club has twice offered him new deals in excess of £ 290,000 a week, making him one of the highest paid players in the world.
But according to Athletic, as shown by a preview of the documentary, Pogba responded to his late agent Mino Raiola, who told him about the second proposal last July, describing it as “nothing” – from his Rolls-Royce.
Apparently upset, Pogba said, “How can you tell a player that you absolutely want him and not offer him anything?” He says, clearly offended. “I’ve never seen that.”
The then United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was given a new three-year contract in July 2021, promised to “build the team around” the talented midfielder.
The club made many attempts to keep him at Old Trafford, but they have long since come to terms with the idea of him leaving. Pogba will leave when his contract expires this summer and is ready to rejoin his former club Juventus.

Pogba is due to leave Manchester United this summer following the end of his contract with Old Trafford.
Most of the documentaries focus on the huge turning point in his career, the end of his career at the rehearsal club, and his departure as a free agent.
Given Pogba’s obvious talent, it may come as a surprise that United are releasing him for nothing, as they signed him for £ 89 million, a world record fee at the moment.
But the problems with injuries, inconsistencies and big differences between club and international performances with France – with which he won the 2018 World Cup after a series of excellent performances – mean that he will not be missed much.
Many believe his arrival is based on commercial rather than football reasons – and the sleek, sleek-looking documentary and the footage inside don’t dispel the idea, much to his surprise at his reaction to the club’s offer.
Pogba, driving on State Road 5 in Miami, Florida on the East Coast of America, while on vacation, spoke by phone with Raiola, the Italian superagent who died in April after a serious illness.
Much of the documentary revolves around Pogba’s expiring contract with Manchester United.
His reaction to receiving the club’s second offer worth more than £ 290,000 a week is indicative
The French star called the offer “nothing” while driving a Rolls-Royce on the Miami highway
Speaking in both Pogba’s natural French and Raiola’s natural Italian, Raiola said: “Paul, you are in a situation that is very specific. You have no idea. You have no idea. ‘
The 29-year-old then asked: “Did Manchester (United) make a second offer?” Rayola replied: “Yes. They absolutely want you to stay. For me, the offer does not reflect this. I told them, “If you want him to stay, don’t make this offer.”
“I will make them understand that if they really want you to stay and they want to build a project around you, this time they have to act differently and put the money on the table.”
“They’re bluffing,” Pogba replies. “How can you tell a player that you absolutely want him and not offer him anything? I’ve never seen that.
In one of the last scenes in the documentary, Pogba vows to “show Manchester that they made a mistake by waiting to give me a contract.” And to show other clubs that Manchester made a mistake by not offering me a contract.
