Thor: Love and Thunder hit Hollywood on Thursday for the world premiere of the latest Marvel Studios movie and the first reactions are already.
The official reviews are only released on July 5, so this is the first look at what the audience is saying. It is worth noting that the reactions from the prime ministers are generally more enthusiastic than from the screenings of the critics.
The project brings together Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Whitey and star Chris Hemsworth for a fairy tale that sets Thor against Gorr the God Butcher, a villain played by Christian Bale who is determined to wipe out the gods of the galaxy. Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster returns to the franchise for the first time since Thor: The Dark World (2013) and this time will rule Thor’s power. The film also stars Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and actors from the guardians of the galaxy franchise, including Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista.
Love and Thunder came when the Marvel brand expanded in streaming with Disney +, and this year a number of series appeared, including the current streaming Ms. Marvel. On the big screen, the studio released Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness less than two months ago, with the project behind Top Gun: Maverick as the second highest-grossing film of the year. The studio also has Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which should be released later this year.
Love and thunder arrives in theaters on July 7.

I saw #ThorLoveAndThunder. It may not quite match Ragnarok’s visual or comedy bomb, but Taika Whitey made up for it with an emotionally mature Marvel movie. It’s also a lot of fun (Natalie has jokes) and includes one of the most stunning visual series in MCU history.
