Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has entered the locker room since the last Champions League match of the season to tell his players that Killian Mbape will not join them, according to a report.
The Champions League finalists failed with a final bid of £ 154 million for the Ligue 1 goal scorer at the end of the last summer transfer window, leading to a season of speculation that Mbape will move to Madrid when his contract expires this summer.
Mbape’s mother, Faiza Lamari, said on Friday that the 23-year-old had ended discussions with the two clubs over “almost identical” offers.

Perez informed Carlo Ancelotti’s team that Mbape was not in Madrid after their zero draw at the Bernabeu against Real Betis on Friday, according to Spanish football expert Guillaume Balage, who was told by a source.
The journalist and presenter seems to have suggested that Madrid and PSG are ready to pay Mbape a signing fee of 150 million euros – about £ 126.7 million – along with salaries and bonuses.
A report on Thursday said the French champions had offered Mbape £ 4m a month and “complete control” over the club’s sporting project.
The winner of the 2018 World Cup was worried about his future on Sunday amid allegations that he is on the verge of joining Madrid with a five-year contract.
