KHARKIV, Ukraine – A Russian air strike is believed to have killed about 60 villagers who have taken refuge in a school in Ukraine’s Luhansk region, authorities said, while fighting Ukrainian forces clashing with a last position in Mariupol vowed to fight until the end, if not be not saved.
An air strike in the village of Belohorivka late Saturday struck a school and a nearby concert hall, causing a fire. While the fire was put out hours later, rescuers pulled out 30 survivors and found two bodies, while about 60 others left under the rubble are believed to be dead, Luhansk Governor Sergei Haidai said.
