Authorities in Massachusetts are investigating an incident in which a car crashed into the front of a store selling pro-Trump goods, injuring one person.
The Easton Police Department said Thursday that the driver of the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta received non-life-threatening injuries when he entered the New England store for Trump on Washington Street.
A camera in the store filmed the accident and later the police uploaded the video on social networks. The incident happened around 5:10 p.m.

An employee standing at the front door is just steps away from the impact area as the car crashes through the front wall, video of the crash appears to show. The car stopped at about 20 feet in the store.

“The vehicle was driven by Sean Flaherty, 46, of Reinham, Massachusetts, who was later transported to the Good Samaritan Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries,” said Deputy Chief Keith Boone.
“At the moment, Flaherty is accused of reckless driving and malicious destruction of property,” he added. “Additional fees may follow.”

According to the Easton Police Department, an employee was in the store at the time of the accident, but was not injured in the crash.

Police have asked the Motor Vehicle Registry to revoke Flaherty’s license amid their investigation, they said.
