A woman’s body was found while hunting for a missing woman in Aberdeenshire.
At around 10 a.m. Saturday, a woman’s body was found in a secluded location near the village of Tarves by officers searching for 51-year-old Ruth Watt.
Ms. Watt was last seen on Mackie Avenue nearby shortly after 4 p.m. on June 21.
She is believed to have driven her “distinctive” son Suzuki Ignis.
Scottish police said an official identification had not yet been made, but her family had been informed.
The death is not treated as suspicious and a report will be filed with the fiscal prosecutor’s office. said the force.
