A body has been found in the search for a missing teenager who was last seen in a river in Scotland.

Bryce Grant, known as Forbes, has disappeared from the Inverugie area of ​​Peterhead, sparking multiple emergency operations in the city.

The 16-year-old boy was last seen in the Ugi River at around 5pm on Thursday, April 28.

Officials confirmed that the body of a 16-year-old man had already been pulled from the river.

Official identification has not yet been made, but Bryce’s family has been notified.

Earlier, we told how a low-flying helicopter was filmed in an area above the river by worried locals late last night.

Cops used specialized equipment, such as thermal imaging, to search for Bryce.

A Scottish police spokesman said: “Officers can confirm that the body of a 16-year-old man was found from the Ugi River at around 12.20 today (Friday, April 29, 2022).

“Bryce Grant’s family, known as Forbes, has been notified.

“Official identification has not yet been carried out and investigations are ongoing.”
