“It came from a deep illness,” jokes Eric Kripke. And he is not wrong! But there is actually more to it than that.
“We just knew for a long time that there was an opening series in which Kimiko and Frenchy fight a superhero. It was TBD Superhero. We really only invent crazy things at the very end, since the story and the rainbows of the characters are already really locked in place. Only then do we return. “
