The entry-level Realme C30 is official with a large 5000 mAh battery

Realme introduced another entry-level smartphone, three months after the arrival of the C31. The Realme C30 carries a 5,000 mAh battery and a large 6.5-inch screen.

The C30 is powered by a Unisoc T612 chipset. It is built on a 12nm process and has an octa-core processor with two main Cortex-A75 modules at 1.8 GHz. At the front we have an LCD with HD + resolution and a drop slot for a 5MP selfie camera.

Tere has only one 8MP camera on the back, combined with one LED flash.

The phone comes with 2 / 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, but has a special microSD slot for up to 1TB of extra space for photos, music and other data. There is also space for two nano SIM cards in the tray.

The phone has a special user interface called Realme Go Edition, and is based on its namesake on Android 11. It comes with lighter applications that require less power to work effortlessly with just 2 GB of RAM.

The Realme C30 is only 8.5 mm thick and has a striped design on the back. There are flat sides, but below there is an unpleasant surprise – a micro USB port that allows charging at 10W. At least there’s a 3.5mm audio jack right next to the microphone and port.

Color options are bamboo green or lake blue. Prices are INR7,499 ($ 100 / € 90) or INR8,299 ($ 105 / € 100), depending on the choice of RAM, and sales will begin on June 27 at Realme.com, Flipkart and offline stores.
