ATLANA – Potential jurors in Georgia’s most populous county have been ordered to arrive at the downtown courthouse on Monday as part of a district attorney’s investigation into alleged efforts by former President Donald Trump and others to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results. d.
Mr Trump lost the election in Georgia by about 12,000 votes out of five million, the first Republican presidential candidate to lose here since 1992. Mr Trump’s efforts to reverse that result included direct appeals to Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State. Brad Rafensperger, who oversees the election and is the chief investigator for his office.
