It seems that Nothing Phone (1) will be released on July 21 for approximately € 500 (about $ 675 CAD), if the latest leaks are accurate.
This coincides with Pei’s “summer release date”. The price has not yet been confirmed, but it would not be surprising to see Pey try the same flagship killer strategy that pioneered OnePlus and used for his company’s Nothing Ear (1).

In an interview with Wallpaper magazine, the head of design at Pei and Nothing mentioned that the phone will have a clear back, similar to the Nothing Ear headphones (1), and that the wireless charging circuit inside the phone will be the main focus of the design.
We also already know that the device will be made of recycled aluminum (probably the edges) and will work with standard Android software called Nothing OS, which is available for demonstration now.
It’s exciting to see a new phone maker trying to break into space, but nothing will need to reveal a truly compelling phone if it aims to compete with Google, Apple and Samsung.
