A teenager was found whose disappearance for more than two weeks was treated as a case of child abduction.
Police confirmed that 15-year-old Maddie was found at an address in Bristol and three men at the scene were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a child.
The teenager from the Southmid area of the city has not been seen since the end of April, and yesterday, Wednesday, May 11, the police made a nationwide appeal for help in finding her.

In a statement, Avon and Somerset police said she was found at an address in Bristol at 12.45 today, Thursday, May 12.
The statement said the 15-year-old would receive support, adding that three men had been detained by police.
“At 12.45 today, officers found the missing 15-year-old Maddie at an address in Bristol,” the statement said. “Maddie has been missing from her home in the Southmouth area of the city since April 26. Three men at the address were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a child. Both the foster parents and Maddie’s family were informed. “
The woman in charge of the search for the missing Maddie was Detective Laura Miller of the Avon and Somerset Police Department. Yesterday, she called on everyone in Bristol to help find the teenager and admitted that she fears for Maddie’s safety because she believes she is with older men.
Today, she thanked the public for their efforts and support. “We are extremely grateful for all the support the public has given us in our search for Maddie, and we would like to assure them that she is now being provided with all the care and support she needs,” she said.
“We believe there is considerable interest in this case and I would ask people not to speculate and think about the impact it may have on Maddie and her loved ones.” Investigations are ongoing, police said.
