Ambulance crews were at the scene of a fatal collision with two vehicles right in front of Ocotox on Friday.
An EMS spokesman said Global News paramedics responded to reports of two vehicles colliding around 8:50 a.m.
The collision occurred south of the Okotox junction on Highway 2. According to EMS, a minibus traveling north on the highway lost control, crossed the middle lane and ended up in the southern lane, where it collided with a jeep.

EMS did not confirm whether this was a head-on collision, but said the impact was “significant”.
Both the elderly female driver of the jeep and the elderly male driver of the van were found dead on the spot.
