Police are investigating after two people were shot in Calgary on Saturday.
Calgary Police Sergeant John Guigon says a woman and a man were shot outside the Chip City after-hours club located at 6520 36 Street NE
He said the call was received around 6am
One man was shot at least four times; a woman was shot once in the abdomen and taken to Foothills Hospital by her friends, Guigon said.
Both victims underwent surgery and are now recovering, Guigon said. The man, who was in life-threatening condition when he was taken to hospital, was in “non-life-threatening” condition.
Guigon says witnesses indicate a dozen shots were fired.

He also said the two victims did not know each other.
No age was given, but both were adults.
Police are interviewing witnesses — Guigon said there were dozens of people in the area — and processing the scene.
