White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre laughed at a question about President Joe Biden’s physical and mental well-being in an interview Monday.

In an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, Jean-Pierre was surprised and told the host that the question of Biden’s physical and mental abilities should not even be asked.

“Does the president have endurance, physically and mentally, do you plan to continue after 2024?” Limon asked.

“Don, you’re asking me this question,” exclaimed the visibly stunned Jean-Pierre. “Oh, my God! He’s the president of the United States.”

Then the spokeswoman laughed and told Lehman that she, 47, sometimes struggled to keep up with Biden, 79.

“This is not a question we should even ask ourselves,” she added. “Just look at the work he’s doing. And see how he presents himself to the American public.”

Jean-Pierre then dismissed criticism from a New York Times report earlier this week, questioning the president’s mental abilities as “rumors” rather than “what we’re not interested in.”

BIDEN “RUNS FOR RE-ELECTION” IN 2024, EVERY WHITE HOUSE

The article cites several prominent Democrats who doubt Biden is the best choice to lead the party in the 2024 election.

Jean-Pierre added: “We are interested in how we will deliver results for the American people. How will we make their lives better. This is what the president is talking about. That’s his focus, and that’s what we’re going to keep focusing on. “

BIDAN’S APPROVAL RATING RUNS TO THE LOWEST POINT OF HIS PRESIDENCY: POLL

Biden has become the oldest man ever elected to serve in the White House in November 2020, and may seek to break the record if he decides to seek re-election in 2024.

Concerns about Biden’s age and ability to lead the Democratic Party come amid a blundering administration, where the president will make a seemingly new political statement only to members of his staff to withdraw his comment.

In the last few months, Biden has expressed some readiness for war with both Russia and China, before administration officials said the country would not change its international strategies.

In May, Biden said he would send troops to Taiwan and protect it from potential Chinese aggression to fulfill “the commitment we made.” The White House later said it had not made such a commitment and that the United States would maintain “strategic uncertainty” about Taiwan.

That same month, Biden also said Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot stay in power.”

The comment immediately provoked a reaction, as Biden appeared to be explicitly calling for Putin’s removal, but White House officials later clarified that the president was not calling for regime change.

In April, Biden struggled to read a televised speech about Russian oligarchs and the new sanctions the United States would impose.

“We will seize their yachts, their luxury homes and all their malicious acquisitions from Putin’s kleptocracy, the kleptocracy – the boys who are kleptocracies. Ha. Ha. “Ha,” Biden said.

In March, Biden told US troops in Poland that they would be sent to fight in Ukraine.

“You’ll see when you’re there,” he told troops, prompting the White House to reiterate that the administration would not send troops to fight the war between Ukraine and Russia.

These concerns about Biden have also spread to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 82, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, 71, Axios reported.
