Wolves & Desjardins announce a donation from the game Hear & Stroke – Sudbury Wolves

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves, in partnership with the Desjardins, are pleased to announce that more than $ 6,300 has been raised from the Heart and Stroke Foundation game on Friday, March 11th. The money was raised through an online T-shirt auction, as well as by throwing a paper plane.

“We are thrilled with the success of this initiative, the community has really come together to support such a great cause,” said Jose Preso, regional vice president, Sudbury and Northern Ontario at Desjardins Ontario Credit Union. “We have a long history of supporting both Sudbury Wolves and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This cooperation was therefore naturally appropriate for the Desjardins.

“We are very happy to have community-oriented partners like Desjardins who are committed to giving back to the community just like us,” said Miranda Boyvin, SWSE’s Marketing Manager. “We would like to thank the management and staff of Desjardins for their support of this event. These types of events are not only to raise money, but also to raise awareness of these charitable and non-profit organizations in the community; while having fun and improving the gaming experience for the fans. ”

The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s jerseys were one of two special T-shirts the Wolves wore in the 2021-22 season. The Wolves also raised more than $ 4,800 for the Children’s Charity of Presidential Choice.

Sudbury Wolves would like to thank their fans for their tremendous support with these events this season.

Fans can secure their seats now for the 2022-23 season and take advantage of Early Bird savings until May 31. Early savings included a $ 50 discount on the spot and two Sudbury Wolves golf t-shirts on the spot (worth $ 50).
