X Factor’s Tom Mann pays tribute to his late fiancee Danielle Hampson

Tom Mann shared a touching tribute to his late fiancee Danielle Hampson as he marked three weeks since her shocking death on what should have been their wedding day.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, the X Factor star, 28, shared pictures with Daniel, 34, and their nine-month-old son Bowie, with him admitting he was “still in shock”.

The singer – who has not yet revealed the cause of Daniel’s death – went on to thank friends and fans for the “love and kindness” shown to him amid his grief.

He wrote: “Almost three weeks after what will always be the worst day of my life. Still in shock and still at a loss for words – my beautiful Dani is an indescribable loss.

“Nothing can be said or done, but I have to acknowledge the tremendous amount of love, kindness and support that Bowie, Dan’s family, my family and I have received. It got us.

“In these darkest of times, it’s extremely difficult to feel anything but sadness, let alone gratitude, but we found glimpses of a sense of that union of love that came from far and wide for our Danny.”

“She was the best of the best and this is a testament to her. Thank you.’

Last month, Tom held a memorial for his late fiancee, sharing a photo of his friends and family gathering in a park with the caption, “Today was for our Danny,” along with a white heart emoji.

TV personality Tom also shared a photo of himself sharing a kiss with Danielle as the pair posed in front of a lake.

He captioned the photo: “Honestly there are no words to describe how much I miss you Dan. Forever always.’

The singer-songwriter – who found fame in band Stereo Kicks on ITV show The X Factor and has written songs for acts including JLS and Ronan Keating – revealed the sad news on Monday in a lengthy Instagram post.

He posted the tribute alongside a photo of Danielle hugging their son, saying she had died in the early hours of Saturday.

Tom wrote: “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but my dear Danny – my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life – passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 18.

“On the day that should have been the happiest day of our lives ended in irreparable heartbreak.

“I feel like I’ve cried an ocean. We never made it to the alter; we either have to say our vows or have our first dance but i know you know you were my whole world and the best thing that ever happened to me daniel.

“I will wear this ring that I was always meant to wear as a sign of my unconditional love for you.”

He added about how he plans to raise their son in her memory: “I’m completely devastated trying to get through this and honestly I don’t know where to go from here but I know I have to use every strength I can muster for our baby boy.

He wrote: “I will wear this ring that I was always meant to wear as a sign of my unconditional love for you.”

“I won’t be a scar on the parent you’ve already become, but I promise I’ll do everything in my power to raise Bowie just like we always wanted. I promise you he will know how amazing his mother was. I promise to make you so proud.

“The most beautiful person inside and out. The most amazing soul. We have lost such a special person and I am sure we will see an outpouring of love to reflect that.

“I will try to find peace in your messages and comments, but I am grieving right now and will be grieving for a very, very long time.

“My dear Danny, the brightest light in any room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever.
