The body was found near Fitzwilliam Street, in Broomfields, on Wednesday night at 7.35pm, with workers in the area speaking of their shock at the discovery.
Miss Begum, 20, was reported missing on Sunday, June 26.
Her family has been notified.

A police spokesman said: “Detectives investigating the disappearance of Somaya Begum from Bradford have found a body.
“Extensive inquiries have been carried out since she was reported missing on June 26 to locate her, officers would like to thank the community for their assistance in the ongoing investigation.
“At 7.35pm yesterday (Wednesday) evening a body was discovered near Fitzwilliam Street, Bradford.
“The scene of the accident is being established while examinations are underway.

“Although formal identification is yet to take place, Somaya’s family has been informed.
“A 52-year-old man has been re-arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.”
