Love Island winners Ekin-Soo and David will bring their own travel series

Love Island winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti have announced they will star in a new travel series on ITV2.

The pair emerged victorious in the latest season of the hit ITV2 reality series, winning a staggering 63.69 per cent of the public vote.

In the first episode of Channel 4’s new revival of The Big Breakfast, Ekin-Su and Davide announced their new TV venture.

In the series, the couple will spend a week in Turkey, Ekin-Su’s home country, and the next week they will travel to Davide’s homeland, Italy.

“We’re going on a road trip to Italy and Turkey,” David told Big Breakfast host AJ Odudu. “So, one week in Italy and one week in Turkey.

“We will be on ITV2 so it will be like our own programme,” he added.

“You are going on a trip and we should come with you?” Odudu asked.

“Yes!” Ekin-Su replied. “It’s all going to be a real, you know, fight and I’m going to cook for him, he’s going to cook for me. It will be like a meeting of two cultures.”

The couple were also asked if they had plans to live together. While Davide seemed to assume that a move was already in the offing, Ekin-Su remained silent.

The Big Breakfast airs at 10am on Saturdays on Channel 4.
